Naked I Will Depart
Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. Job 1:21

Posted on September 4, 2014 by Cassi Thomas

Last week I took it upon myself to memorize world history from 10,000 B.C.* to current (as well as American history and Georgia history) in 5 days. Yes, I’m a little crazy. Well, maybe a lot crazy, especially considering everything … Continue reading →

Once a Home, Built in 1907

There aren’t many buildings in Tucson, AZ that are more than 100 years old. This week my photography students and I were granted special access to one of Tucson’s oldest buildings, the Manning House. Once a private residence, what sits at 450 West Paseo Redondo is now El Rio Health‘s headquarters.

    I’m sick…

…but I love playing cards so much that I don’t want to go lay down and rest.

    Puppy Play

Well, they aren’t puppies anymore, but to me, they’ll always be “the pups.” The best time to catch these two playing is in the early morning when they first wake up from a long night’s rest. Plus, it gets hot in Tucson, AZ very quickly! Watching these two (sometimes my oldest will even play along) […]

Easter is the only time of the year that I can convince my kiddos to put on something nice for a picture. Fifteen minutes into the shoot I had to bribe them with four scoops of ice cream and any toppings they wanted if they’d just hang on for another fifteen minutes with me. LOL!

    50mm Prime

Yesterday I enjoyed a two-hour window of time, just me and my girl. We built a sand castle, went for a bike ride, and walked hand-in-hand. I don’t usually take pictures of people with my 50mm prime, I wasn’t about to take along a huge, portrait lens during this precious time. I just love the […]
